The problem with EP training

Most programs cost more
than they should.

Residential courses with high price tags, hidden travel costs, and schedules that require you to disappear for a week β€” built around tactics, not the judgment and planning that actually determine a career in this field.

Hidden cost
Travel & logistics
Flights, hotels, ground transport, and meals add $1,200–$3,600 on top of tuition before you've learned a thing.
Hidden cost
Lost income
Most residential programs demand 5–7 days away. That's $500–$2,000+ out of your pocket on top of everything else.
Curriculum gap
Tactics without judgment
The industry is full of courses that teach you to look the part. Few teach you to think. Judgment is what gets you hired β€” and keeps you employed.
Credential gap
Certificates without standards
Many programs issue credentials that represent attendance, not competency. Elevated Applications gates every unlock β€” you earn it.
True cost comparison

In-person EP training
costs $6,000–$10,000+.

That's tuition plus every cost the residential programs don't mention upfront. Elevated Applications eliminates every line item except the program itself.

Cost item In-person program EA Program
Tuition / program fee $3,500–$5,000 $1,297

Who this is for

Not everyone is
the right fit.

The gating structure exists to identify who's serious. The program is intentionally selective β€” and that's what makes the certificate meaningful.

Right for you if β€”
  • βœ“You're entering EP from military, law enforcement, or security and want a structured professional foundation
  • βœ“You're willing to complete assessments and applied assignments β€” not just consume content
  • βœ“You want to be evaluated by a working EP professional, not just an auto-graded quiz
  • βœ“You understand that judgment, planning, and professionalism determine a career in this field
  • βœ“You want a credential from a firm that actually operates at Tier 1 β€” one you can stand behind in an interview
Not right for you if β€”
  • βœ—You want a certificate you can purchase without proving mastery of the material
  • βœ—You're looking for firearms training, defensive driving, or hands-on tactical skills
  • βœ—You expect a guarantee of contract work after completion
  • βœ—You're unwilling to receive direct written feedback from the facilitator on your applied work
  • βœ—You want a passive course you can click through without demonstrating competency at each stage

AI-Powered Field
Scenario Simulator.

No other EP program at this level includes this. Generate unlimited realistic EP scenarios calibrated to your assignment type, principal profile, and the frameworks you're developing β€” then work through decisions evaluated against program standards with immediate expert feedback.

Included with full enrollment
EP Field Scenario Simulator
AI-Powered Β· Unlimited Scenarios

Every scenario is unique β€” generated in real time against your specific context. Select your assignment type, principal profile, and the frameworks you want to develop. The simulator builds a field-realistic situation, then walks you through four decision points evaluated against the same standards a working EP professional would apply.

Assignment types
Corporate travel, advance work, residential security, event details, high-threat environments, medical response
Frameworks tested
Threat Triangle, OODA Loop, Risk Matrix, PACE Plan, Advance Work, Use of Force, Digital OPSEC, Medical Response
How it works
Four decision points per scenario. Each decision is tagged to a specific framework with immediate feedback explaining the correct reasoning.
Why it matters
Field judgment is built through repetition against varied conditions β€” not one static case study. Every scenario is different. Run it as many times as you want.
Available immediately on enrollment. The simulator lives inside your course portal β€” accessible from any module, any time, with no additional setup required.
Frequently asked

Common questions
answered directly.

No. This is a theory-based professional program focused on judgment, planning, and decision-making. It does not include firearms training, defensive tactics, or defensive driving. Students are encouraged to pursue those skills through appropriate tactical providers.

No. The Elevated Applications Certificate of Completion is a program completion credential, not an industry certification or state license. Students are responsible for pursuing any required state licensing independently. Module 2.3 includes a licensing research framework to support that process.

No. Completion makes a graduate eligible for consideration. Elevated Applications retains full discretion over all contracting decisions. Referrals are made based on timing, location, and fit β€” and only to graduates the facilitator is confident in.

Each module requires approximately 2–3 hours including the lesson, assessment, and applied assignment. At one module per week the program runs 12–15 weeks. Students who move faster can complete it in 8–10 weeks. The program is entirely self-paced.

Students who don't reach the 80% passing score may retake after a 24-hour waiting period. There is no limit on retakes, but students are encouraged to review the core lesson before reattempting rather than relying on repetition alone.

The facilitator provides specific written feedback and requests a revision. Students have one revision opportunity at each gate before the facilitator makes a final determination. The facilitator's assessment is final.

No prior EP experience is required. The program is designed specifically for entry-level candidates and transitioning professionals. Prior military, law enforcement, or security experience is an asset but is not a prerequisite.

Yes. The program is fully online and accessible from any location. Module 2.3 addresses jurisdiction-specific licensing, and the pre-program questionnaire captures the student's location for facilitator context.
